Dance Productions

“ Vande Mataram : Bharat Ek Sone ki Chidiya,” is a stunning dance ballet that brought India’s rich culture to life through a visual feast of colour, movement, and song, was performed by the Urvashi Dance Music Art & Cultural Society. Viewers were amazed by the amazing performance, which included elements of classical, folk, and modern dancing. Team of 100 artists were a part of this programme. Most recently we had done this production at INDIA GATE CENTRAL VISTA AND CENTRAL PARK ,RAJIV CHOWK DELHI ,and at both places We witness a crowd of more than 10,000 Audience. Great appreciation is given by all the audience towards the performances done by the artists.

‘Azadi ka Amrit mohatsav’ dance ballet was organized on 30th September 2022 in kamani Auditorium , New Delhi . The Production showcase India’s 75 years of independence via various classical & folk dances of India . Team of 100 dancers participated in this Ballet .It was organised by the Urvashi dance Music art and Cultural Society in collaboration with Paramhans Prakashvati Mehta Trust and ChhayaDeep foundation to celebrate 75 valorous years on India . Jagadguru shankaracharya rajrajeshwar ji maharaj was the Chief guest of the evening .

Classical dance as Kathak , Odissi , Bharatanatyam , Mohiniyattam , Kathakali , Manipuri , Chhau are a part of this program. Folk Dances from Rajasthan , Gujarat ,Haryana , Punjab made the ballet more attractive . Most recently we had done this production at CENTRAL PARK ,RAJIV CHOWK DELHI ,and We witness a crowd of more than 10,000 Audience. Great appreciation is given by all the audience towards the performances done by the artists.

SWADHEENTA - FESTIVAL OF FREEDOM

Main aim of this dance production is to revive the memories of our freedom fighters and to show the achievements attain by INDIA in the past 75 years. Our freedom fighters should not be forgotten simply like the leaves kept in between the pages of an old book. This production tries to give us a chance to feel the pain which they underwent during the freedom struggle and made that pain a part of their existence just to set India free from British rule. Also through this production you can witness the development’s, INDIA has achieved in the path of becoming “VISHWA GURU” once again.

 Earth Water ,Wind, Fire  and space are the five elements which constitute our planet .Our existence is due to to all of them but How much do contribute back to our planet? We the humanbeing pollute all these elements .If we are polluting these elements then nature in turn will pollute us as our is composed of these elements .We the team of Urvashi Dance Music Art & Cultural Society wants to spread awareness among the society :Not to Pollute this and save our planet .SAVE THE PLANET & WE SAVE OURSELF  

"Kaal Shakti " dance ballet is based on the mythological story of Goddess Durga, To kill the Demon she became a kaali , She is the one whose neck is hanging a garland of heads from which blood is dripping down. She walks all through the corpse, residing in the cremation ground. But a Divine colour is hidden behind Her Dreadful shade.  She is the form within the Sky of Consciousness and spiritual bliss. She is the form of the Moon in the night sky which reflects the million rays contained within it.  Atlast she killed the Mahishasura and become Mahishasura Mardhini.
